Lab 1/ Global Population Projections of the year 2050

Lab 1 global projection of the year 2050 from the year 2015

The some of the take away from chapter one the introduction to Geography was the history behind the word Geography its Greek origins geo meaning “the earth” and graphia meaning “to write,”. every place on earth has an exact location that can be measured with latitude and longitude. the main problem people still face with trying to see earth on a flat sheet all at once is distortion since the earth is spherical its impossible to get a perfect image of the earth but, the general map people use is he the Mercator projection which was actual made for navigation.

Lab 1's main focus the general topic was projected population growth and decline by the 2050 one of the main things you would notice is that east Europe seems to be declining rapidly and countries and regions in Sub-Sahara Africa seem to rapidly growing. the Top five largest countries by population also seem to shift slightly (expected ) by 2050 which could be India, China, Nigeria, United states, Indonesia

the best way to wrap this up Lab 1 and the introduction is we are trying to look at the whole world from a new perspective a geographers perspective to see the world as a whole single before zooming into regions specially the people and regions and why they are how they are from foods to clothes to population
